Lizzy Paredes
Lizzy moved to Florida with her parents as a child. She attended school in Miami and attended Miami Dade College. Lizzy is the mother of three boys and grandmother of four. During her free time, she is usually involved in some type of volunteer work through Saint Katharine Drexel Church where she attends regularly. Lizzy’s faith is what she considers her driving force.
Lizzy began her career with the American Arbitration Association as a case worker. That position was the catalyst for her love of the insurance industry. She then went on to accept a position with the Department of Insurance for the state of Florida in Tallahassee. Lizzy was later offered a position with the Department of Revenue for the state of Florida where she began as a Revenue Specialist. She stayed with the Department of Revenue for the next 20 plus years where she was promoted to different managerial positions beginning in 2001 through 2018.
